Late night menu was really good. Blueberry pancakes were huge and stuffed w blueberries. Hamsteak was also huge and very tasty.
I was very pleased with the Prime Rib meal here. The meat was real good and the baked potato was phenomenal. I added on a dinner salad and that was excellent as well. You can't beat the price either.
We enjoy when we have a chance to stay at Virgin River Hotel/Casino. The food at the Virgin River Cafe, for us has always been really good. I don’t think we’ve had a bad or meh meal. We’ll be back tonight to try the 19.99 Porterhouse. Typically we do the Prime Rib or we get Salt and Pepper Calamari and Pork. Awesome. Pretty authentic taste of a Taiwanese flavor. If you sit in the back room it isn’t as Smokey smelling, when we get seated in front we ask to move to the back, I don’t want to smell people’s cigarettes while I’m eating. Most of the servers have been pretty good. We have had one or two that don’t seem to enjoy their work, but we also understand the industry can sometimes wear on the patience. If you’ve never been here; it’s worth a try.
During our stay at the Hotel, we had occasion to frequent the Virgin River Cafe three times; two breakfasts, and one dinner. Each visit we were greeted & seated quickly, three different waiters / waitresses each time, so no bias on wait staff. Specials were expressed, even though our group was already set on what we wanted to order. Food was excellent, prepared well, and presented nicely. For breakfast you can't go wrong with Deuces, and for dinner, the Prime Rib Special can't be beat, even though I opt'ed for the full price selection.
You've got to try the Jalapeño poppers—they're absolutely delicious! And the Deuce breakfast? It's really fantastic! This place has quality as a hidden gem in the desert. Lovely staff. **************************************
We were staying in the hotel with friends and had dinner at Virgin River Cafe. We stood in line for maybe about 20 minutes or so. We were sat in a corner booth (table for 5) and the seat was a bit tight. We had to push the table out a bit to be more comfortable. Our server, Carlos, was very nice and attentive. Food: Salt & Pepper Pork Chop Black Bean Shrimp Porterhouse Steak Hong Kong Crispy Noodle My friend cut a piece of his Porterhouse Steak to taste and the pieces I had were delicious. Great seasoning and tender. The Black & Bean Shrimp was ok. Not the best. The fried rice was also ok. I did however enjoy the noodles. I loved the sauce. The highlight of the night was the porkchop. I loved the lightly battered crispy chops. It was so good. I haven't had a good salt & pepper pork chop like that in a while. Ill definitely return again.
We stopped here while passing through town. We waited 15 minutes for a seat, which wasn’t bad. They had a lot of choices, Chinese, Mexican and American food. We ordered The Carne Asada tacos as and app and they were great! We then got the porterhouse special that is $19.99 and it was very good!!! Lastly the grilled chicken sandwhich and it was good as well! Our server became busy and supervisor stepped up to serve us. Great dinner!!!
